Peoria car thieves lead police on chase on I-80 in Grundy County, Illinois State Police say
GRUNDY COUNTY, Unwell. (WLS) — Automotive thieves led police on a chase from Peoria onto eastbound-80 in Grundy County Thursday morning, Illinois State Police mentioned.
Illinois State Police mentioned troopers responded to a request for help from the Grundy County Sheriff’s Workplace at about 7:40 a.m.
Police mentioned the incident began with a number of automobiles being stolen out of the Peoria space. Chopper 7HD flew above the scene on I-80 close to Morris and located police responding to a number of crashed autos.
