Off-duty Kenosha officer accused of putting knee on 12-year-old girl’s neck during lunchroom fight

KENOSHA, Wis. (WLS) — Kenosha, Wisconsin police and a faculty district are investigating after a lunchtime combat between center faculty college students.

Throughout that combat, which occurred one week in the past, an off-duty Kenosha police officer who labored for the district part-time is accused of placing his knee on a 12-year-old woman’s neck.

Video of the incident unfold on social media. Whereas it doesn’t present the combat main as much as the incident, it does seem to point out the officer placing his knee on the woman’s neck whereas attempting to cease the combat.

She then pushes the officer and he pins her to the bottom.

The scholar’s father informed ABC Information she suffered accidents to her head and neck.

In a press release, the varsity district mentioned partly, “it’s conscious of an incident that occurred between two college students and the officer is presently on paid depart from the district.”

The Kenosha Police Division mentioned it’s working with the district on the investigation and is taking warning to not make any conclusions based mostly off “a small piece of knowledge shared on social media.”
