Man killed after vehicle crashes into wall in Prospect Heights, catches fire, lands in river

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Unwell. (WLS) — One individual was killed in a fiery north suburban crash early Saturday morning, fireplace officers mentioned.

The crash occurred in Prospect Heights round 6 a.m. close to the intersection of North River Street and South Milwaukee Avenue, authorities mentioned. A automobile was touring eastbound on River Street in direction of Milwaukee Avenue when it struck a guardrail and a concrete-retaining wall. The automobile then caught on fireplace and went airborne over the wall earlier than touchdown within the Des Plaines River.

The driving force was ejected from the automobile and died from their accidents, authorities mentioned. He was recognized to the Cook dinner County Medical Examiner’s Workplace as Aaron Willard, 32, of Elk Grove Village.

Rescue crews initially mentioned they have been looking the water for extra potential victims, but it surely was later decided that nobody else was contained in the automobile.
