Lollapalooza 2022: J-Hope, member of K-Pop sensation BTS, to headline Sunday night

CHICAGO (WLS) — J-Hope, one of many members of Ok-pop sensation BTS, will headline Lollapalooza’s Sunday night time after Doja Cat needed to drop out.

Lollapalooza organizers made the announcement Tuesday night.

“His efficiency will make historical past, cementing him as the primary South Korean artist to headline a mainstage at a serious U.S. pageant,” they wrote.

Doja Cat canceled her total slate of summer time festivals, together with her headlining look at Lollapalooza, as a result of throat issues.

BTS has discovered worldwide success with songs like “Butter” and “Dynamite” and their followers, who name themselves the “Military,” span throughout the globe. They have been nominated for a Grammy this 12 months, and likewise gained Billboard Music Awards for High Duo/Group and High Track Gross sales Artist.
