Kidnapping suspect arrested in South Shore, ‘engaged in indecent act’ in presence of victim: CPD

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police mentioned a kidnapping suspect was arrested within the metropolis’s South Shore neighborhood Thursday night.

Police mentioned officers responded to a name of a kidnapping within the 7600-block of South Coles Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m. It was unclear whether or not the kidnapping came about in that space, or elsewhere, police mentioned..

The responding officers noticed a 23-year-old man on the second flooring balcony of an condo advanced “engaged in an indecent act within the presence of a feminine sufferer.” Police didn’t specify the age of the sufferer.

The person was taken into custody. The sufferer was taken to Comer Kids’s Hospital in unknown situation.

Police mentioned the sufferer and the suspect have no idea one another.

An investigation by Space Two detectives is ongoing. No additional particulars have been launched.
