Geneva pride flag fire hydrant vandalized for 7th time, 1 arrest made

GENEVA, In poor health. (WLS) — Neighbors in Geneva used the Labor Day vacation for a labor of affection.

Members of the group “Belong Fox Valley” spent the day repainting a hearth hydrant that was painted over by somebody.

The hydrant was painted in honor of LGBTQ+ satisfaction and is a part of town’s “Artwork on Fireplace” program. It was first painted again in June.

That is now the seventh time the hydrant has been repainted due to vandalism, and there is solely been one arrest.

The group is making an attempt to show this adverse right into a constructive by encouraging folks to donate to “The Trevor Venture,” which affords disaster companies to LGBTQ+ teenagers.
