Free lunch meals available to west, south suburban students until end of summer break

CHICAGO (WLS) — This week, free lunch meals shall be out there to college students across the metropolis and suburbs till the tip of the summer time break.

Beginning Monday, the Better Chicago Meals Depository shall be dropping off meals at places of their west suburban route.

Berwyn is the primary cease at 11:00 a.m. at 6600 West twenty sixth Road, adopted by the Justice Park District simply after midday. Then, at 1:00 p.m. college students can decide up meals at Cicero Public Library. At 2:30 p.m., pick-ups will be made on the Maywood Public Library.

For the south suburban route, meals shall be on the Religion United Methodist Church in Dolton beginning at 10:45 a.m. College students may decide up meals at Jirtle Park round midday. Meals shall be supplied at Smith Park at 1:00 p.m., adopted by Lansing Public Library at 2:00 p.m.

Free lunches are additionally out there to kids in Aurora by the USDA’s Summer season Meals Service Program.

The Meals Financial institution’s “Meals on the Transfer” will give out boxed meals weekdays at 4 Aurora parks. There will even be a “Friday Recent Market” for take-home lunches on the weekend. This system runs by Aug. 12.
