Drowning teen rescued from Lake Michigan at North Ave Beach, CFD says

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago hearth officers mentioned a 14-year-old boy was rescued from Lake Michigan Thursday night time.

The Chicago Fireplace Division mentioned the teenager was pulled from the water at North Avenue Seaside and was taken to an area hospital in severe situation.

CFD mentioned the teenager was drowning on the time of his rescue.

Why the teenager was within the water was not instantly recognized. It was additionally not instantly recognized if he was rescued by friends or by emergency responders. It was not clear if a lifeguard was on obligation when the incident occurred.
