CTA service on Red, Brown and Purple Express lines resumes after body found on tracks at Belmont
CHICAGO (WLS) — CTA service on the North Facet was disrupted Friday morning after a physique was discovered on the tracks close to Belmont.
Chicago police stated a person, 25-35 years previous, was discovered on the southbound interior tracks of the Belmont station by a conductor. at about 3:19 a.m. He suffered main head trauma and was pronounced useless on the scene, police stated.
Police are conducting a dying investigation.
The CTA resumed by 6 a.m. after earlier being briefly suspended. Shuttle buses had been in place.
