Chicago police: Man shot during River North during robbery attempt
CHICAGO (WLS) — A person was shot throughout a theft in River North Thursday morning, Chicago police stated.
The 26-year-old sufferer was standing within the 500-block of North State Avenue at about 3:26 a.m. when police stated he was approached by a male suspect with a gun.
The suspect demanded the sufferer’s belongings and the sufferer refused, which led to a bodily wrestle. Police stated the suspect shot the sufferer in the course of the wrestle.
The sufferer was shot within the wrist and transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good situation.
Nobody is in custody and Space Three detectives are investigating.
