Arlington Heights crash involving bicyclist on Lake Cook Road leaves 2 injured
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ailing. (WLS) — An Arlington Heights crash involving two automobiles and a bicycle left two individuals injured Thursday morning.
Police responded at about 7:20 a.m. to a crash at Lake Cook dinner and Wilke roads and located two autos and a bicycle concerned.
Police mentioned Ford F550 landscaping truck with a trailer was driving east on Lake Street approaching North Wilke Street when a Chevrolet Equinox made a left flip from west Lake Cook dinner Street to go south on Wilke Street. The autos crashed, inflicting the Ford onto the curb and struck a bicyclist ready to cross Lake Cook dinner Street.
A 43-year-old lady on the bicycle suffered life-threatening accidents and was transported to Lutheran Common Hospital.
The driving force of the Equinox was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.
The truck is from a concrete firm and not less than two individuals are within it on the time. The proprietor of that concrete firm mentioned one in all his staff within the truck suffered a leg harm
The Specialised Site visitors Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Crew related to the northwest suburban Main Case Help Crew (MCAT), is investigating the crash. Police mentioned there have been no indicators that both driver was impaired.
