Whoopi Goldberg is an icon of entertainment. She’s played many roles in Hollywood, and she has perhaps been most inspirational for the way she has shown up as herself. But before the acclaim, Whoopi Goldberg was known as Caryn Johnson and in her own words, “A little bit different.. and out there.”
In her new memoir, “Bits and Pieces,” she dives into her upbringing with her mother, Emma, and brother, Clyde, and how her relationships with them shaped her sense of herself. In this episode of The Sunday Story, Goldberg sits down with host Ayesha Rascoe to talk about the previously untold stories that made her who she is today. They discuss family, love, and coping with loss.
This episode of The Sunday Story was produced by Hazel Feldstein and edited by Jenny Schmidt, Liana Simstrom, and Abby Wendle. Engineering by Gilly Moon.

Ever since his 2016 campaign, former President Trump has struggled to attract support from high-profile musicians and entertainers — and the lineup for tonight’s convention opener indicates that the current political season hasn’t been any easier for him in that regard.
The featured musical guest for the RNC’s opening night is country singer Chris Janson, who also performed for the Republican gathering eight years ago.
Janson is not a particularly well-known artist among mainstream audiences: The highest position he has ever reached on the Billboard Hot 100 chart is No. 41, twice (in 2015 for his song “Buy Me a Boat” and again in 2020 for the tune “Done”), while Buy Me A Boat went to No. 18 on the Billboard 200 album chart nine years ago.
Also on tonight’s docket: Amber Rose, a model/reality TV star/influencer/erstwhile rapper and former romantic partner of one-time Trump ally Kanye West. Back in 2016, she gave an interview to The Cut in which she called Trump an “idiot,” expressing a fervent desire that he not be elected.
Since then, however, she seems to have done an about-face, although she has not yet publicly articulated a reason for her switch. In May, she posted a photo of herself on Instagram posing with the former president and Melania Trump. In a video published on social media last month, she cooed, “MAGA, baby!” while showing off Trump-related swag.

Bhad Bhabie Posts $57 Million OnlyFans Earnings Statement
![Bhad Bhabie Posts $57 Million OnlyFans Earnings Statement](https://imagez.tmz.com/image/6c/16by9/2024/07/15/6c77256fcac04df18281bbf36b0b1133_xl.jpg)
Bhad Bhabie may be going through a rough patch relationship-wise — but it’s smooth sailing as far as her finances are concerned … ’cause she’s apparently raking in the dough, big time.
Over the weekend, BB posted her OnlyFans all-time earnings statement dating back to 2021 — and the figure is staggering, as it eclipses $57 million … and what’s more, we’re being told the number is 100% legit and that her receipts check out.
The interesting part … based on the cash breakdown, BB seems to have made more money from DMs than subscriptions … meaning her fans really wanted to get their points across personally and communicate with her.
Of course, the money memos — which can only be taken as a boast of her fortunes — come on the heels of Bhad Bhabie sharing the shocking video of her ex-BF Le Vaughn apparently assaulting her and ghastly injuries to her eye from separate alleged DV incidents.
Danielle admitted she still loved LV — but snapped at a fan who suggested they were still an item, even in the wake of their newborn daughter. Either way, DB is swimming in cash.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
The road to becoming $57 million richer didn’t come easy … BB was recently featured in Max’s documentary “Teen Torture, Inc.” where she looked back at her stint at the Turn-About Ranch rehabilitation center with disgust. It currently sits at #4 on Max’s Top 10 U.S. shows.
This was notably part of her journey to becoming famous in the first place when she went on Dr. Phil‘s TV show … but not without her share of emotional scars, as we’re now learning.
Anyway … enjoy your riches, BB!
