On Friday Netflix and Shondaland shared the first-look picture and official title for Shonda Rhimes’ restricted sequence, “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.”
In it, Golda Rosheuvel, who performs Queen Charlotte on “Bridgerton,” and Adjoa Andoh, who stars as Woman Agatha Danbury are joined by India Amarteifio, who performs younger Queen Charlotte within the prequel.
“Centered on Queen Charlotte’s rise to prominence and energy, this Bridgerton-verse prequel tells the story of how the younger Queen’s marriage to King George sparked each a terrific love story and a societal shift, creating the world of the Ton inherited by the characters in Bridgerton,” in accordance with Netflix’s description of the sequence.
No debut date for the restricted sequence was introduced.
