Family of three, including teen daughter, found dead in Massachusetts mansion, valued at $6.8: DA's office
A couple and their teen daughter were found dead in their 19,000 square foot home in a possible murder-suicide in one of the wealthiest suburbs of Massachusetts.
Rakesh Kamal, 57; his wife, Teena; and their daughter, Arianna, 18, were found Thursday evening at their home in Dover, Massachusetts, Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey said at a news conference on Friday.
The home, which is located approximately 20 miles southwest of Boston, is 19,000 square feet and is worth $6.8 million.
Authorities said that Arianna was a student at Middlebury College in Vermont and home for Christmas break.

Morrissey revealed that local authorities received a call on Thursday at approximately 7:30 p.m. after a concerned family member stopped by the home after they did not hear from the family for a couple of days.
When the relative arrived at the mansion, they told police that they had found one of the victims.

During a search of the home, local police found all three victims within the home. Massachusetts State Police officers found a firearm near the husband, Morrissey said.
“I’m led to believe that it’s safe for me to tell you that this is probably a domestic incident,” Morrissey said.

The Medical Examiner’s Office is working to determine the manner of the death
The Norfolk County District Attorney said that this incident is an example of how domestic violence crosses all economic situations.
“I would say: This is an event to remember that that domestic violence crisis cross all economic and social situations,” Morrissey said.

OXFORD — Ole Miss softball is back in the NCAA Tournament after making the Women’s College World Series a season ago.
The Rebels (34-24) will play Boston (46-13) on May 15 (1 p.m. CT, ESPNU) in the Lubbock Regional. Ole Miss is the No. 2 seed in the regional, and Boston is the No. 3.
Texas Tech (52-6), the No. 11 overall seed and regional host, will face No. 4 Marist (37-19).
The Rebels went 6-18 in SEC play this season, and have a largely new-look roster from the team that made the WCWS last season.
Ole Miss beat South Carolina and Tennessee in the SEC Tournament to improve its seed.
Freshman Madi George has burst onto the scene in the SEC. The first-year infielder leads Ole Miss with a .385 batting average. She has a team-high 21 home runs and 58 RBIs.
Seniors Emilee Boyer (3.86 ERA), Kyra Aycock (3.97 ERA) and junior Lily Whitten (3.04 ERA) are the primary options in the circle for coach Jamie Trachsel.
Trachsel is in her sixth season leading the Ole Miss program. She led the Rebels to their first WCWS appearance in program history in 2025.
What to know about Boston, Texas Tech and Marist in Lubbock Regional
Boston entered the Patriot League Tournament as the top seed and the Terriers delivered. Boston beat No. 2 Colgate 12-1, becoming the second team in Patriot League history to four-peat as conference champions. Boston is on a 12-game winning streak. Kylie Doherty leads the team with a .396 batting average and 26 home runs.
Texas Tech made the 2025 WCWS championship series, losing to Texas in three games.
Texas Tech lost just three Big 12 games this season but lost in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament. The Red Raiders are a strong threat to get to the WCWS again. There are four Texas Tech batters hitting over .400. Star pitcher NiJaree Canady leads the Red Raiders with a 1.24 ERA. She has 209 strikeouts.
Marist plays in the MAAC and won the conference tournament. Marist split a two-game series against South Carolina early in the season. Ava Metzger (12-3, 2.51 ERA) and Peyton Pusey (.404 batting average) lead the team.

Kennywood honored two longtime employees Saturday who together have worked at the park for a combined 100 years.
Larry Russ and Bobby Trygar started working at Kennywood in 1976.
Russ began his Kennywood career as a games employee, working at the Big Apple dart game. In 1980, Russ applied to the security team and has held positions there ever since, including roles as a corporal, lieutenant, chief, and captain, according to a press release provided by the park.
Trygar began his time at Kennywood by working in the Parkside Café. Since he joined Kennywood, he has helped to maintain some of the park’s most iconic attractions, including the Racer, Log Jammer, and Merry Go Round.
“This is something you dream about. It’s so amazing,” Trygar said. “One of the best things when I worked out here was when I met my wife on the Racer. I was the mechanic. It’s just a great feeling to come here every day, see smiles on people’s faces, it’s tremendous. It gives you that extra boost and happiness.”
“I was planning on going into the mill, like everyone else was during my era,” Russ said. “Of course, the mill shut down. My father told me, ‘You don’t want to [work at the mill]. This place isn’t going to be here that much longer,’ and he was right, so I stuck it out here. I got a full-time position in 1980, and the rest is history.”
The park also dedicated two benches in their honor.
Lexie Brown had 17 points to lead the Seattle Storm to an 89-82 win over the Connecticut Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Sunday afternoon..
Former UConn Huskies women’s basketball star Stefanie Dolson had six points and four rebounds for the Storm while Katie Lou Samuelson did not dress as she continues her recovery from an ACL injury suffered during 2025 training camp. Olivia Nelson-Ododa had five points and one rebound for the Sun while Aaliyah Edwards sat out with a left thigh injury.
