CASPER, Wyo. — The warden on the Wyoming Girls’s Heart plans to retire, the Wyoming Division of Corrections mentioned Tuesday.
Warden Rick Catron will formally retire on Saturday, June 4, after a 45-year profession in corrections.
Catron’s profession started at the USA Penitentiary in Lompoc, California in 1977, in response to the WDOC. He spent 28 years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons earlier than taking a place with the personal jail firm Neighborhood Schooling Facilities in 2005. He started with the personal jail firm at Grownup Neighborhood Corrections Heart in Colorado Springs earlier than transferring to the Casper Re-Entry Heart.
Catron took the state place as warden of the Wyoming Girls’s Heart in 2017.

Timothy Lang, whose traditional position is assistant warden on the Wyoming Girls’s Heart, will function interim warden till a everlasting new warden is appointed, in response to the WDOC.
