Wyoming County park sees new improvements

OCEANA, WV (WVNS)– One native city in Wyoming County is improving the city park.

The City of Oceana acquired $530,000 from the American Rescue Plan given to the city in two completely different installments.  The primary installment of $265,000 went to enhance Gilliand Park. 

The city paved the basketball and tennis courts, in addition to the trail between the basketball court docket and the amphitheater.  Additionally they made a concrete ramp between the amphitheater and the fishing dock close to Laural Creek.

Individuals on the town actually admire it, it’s one thing they’ll see.  It’s similar to water and sewer whenever you attempt to clarify it to them they don’t actually see it.

The second installment of the American Rescue Plan cash will go towards enhancements to Oceana’s water and sewer system.
