CASPER, Wyo, — Showers and thunderstorms proceed to unfold east throughout Wyoming Friday night. Thunderheads may be seen west and south of Casper Friday evening.
“Thunderstorms [with] copious quantities of small hail are shifting throughout Johnson and Natrona Counties, sufficient to cowl the street,” the Nationwide Climate Service mentioned. “Please decelerate in case you encounter these storms.”
“Search shelter indoors when storms transfer into your space,” the NWS mentioned. Dangers embrace robust, gusty winds, pea-size hail, and localized downpours, the Nationwide Climate Service mentioned.
At 7:47 pm Doppler radar was monitoring a robust thunderstorm 14 miles southeast of Gap In The Wall, or 20 miles south of Kaycee, shifting east at 25 mph, the NWS added.
Portion of I-90 in Johnson County are below advisory for 30 mph winds and half-inch hail till 7:45 p.m.
