Pipe lining project begins in northwest Wyoming

LANDER, Wyo. — A $516,969 pipe lining mission has began north of Lander on US287.  The mission consists of grading, culvert lining, culvert alternative, asphalt pavement surfacing, fencing and different work at varied areas in northwest Wyoming.  

The mission’s prime contractor is Wilson Brothers Building, Inc., of Cowley, Wyoming.

The contractor’s schedule requires asphalt removing and culvert alternative starting this week on US287 at mileposts 7.14 and seven.81, north of Lander, with paving beginning as early as subsequent week.  

All work depends upon favorable climate.

“Motorists ought to count on visitors delays of as much as 10 minutes with stopped situations and single-lane visitors managed by a transportable visitors sign,” stated Wyoming Division of Transportation resident engineer Erik Smith of Lander.

The Wyoming Transportation Fee awarded the mission to Wilson Brothers Building in October 2021. Contract completion date is June 30, 2022.
