Northeastern finishes 2nd at Central Wyoming College Tournament

With the common season nearing its finish as soon as once more the Northeastern Junior School males’s golf crew scored a second place end on the Central Wyoming School Match April 21 and 22.

The Plainsmen shot 291 within the first spherical placing them in first place, however they fell behind the next day with 297 for an total rating of 588, placing them in second place behind Jap Wyoming School.

For the second week in a row it was a Northeastern participant on prime of the scoreboard. Matthew Campbell shot 71 within the first spherical and 69 the next day for a complete rating of 140 giving him the primary place end, simply forward of Jap Wyoming’s Brendan Thomas who shot a 143.

Behind him was Trey Kuntz who shot 147 to tie with three others for fifth place. Jackson Rottschafer and Mason Bernard every shot 151 to tie for eleventh place, Bodie Hume tied for thirteenth place with a rating of 152, Phil Arnold tied for twenty fourth with a rating of 159, Mateo Salcido scored 161 to complete twenty eighth, Alex Tanner shot 166 to return in thirty third and Jacob Dollarhide shot 172 to complete thirty ninth.

Northeastern will shut out its common season on the Jap Wyoming School Match Thursday and Friday.
