Former NC State RB Commit Grayson Rigdon Commits to Wyoming

Yesterday, 2025 Running Back Grayson Rigdon decommitted from NC State, after committing to run with the Wolfpack on November 25th.

To be honest, after Houston offered on December 1st, who is an hour away from Rigdon’s High School (Columbus High School), I thought that Rigdon might decommit and head to play for the Cougars.

Consider me a little surprised that Rigdon announced today that he is committing to play for Wyoming.

It seems like a major factor in Rigdon’s college decision was finding a school that was interested in him playing both football.

Last season, Rigdon led the nation in scoring, averaging 45.1 points per game, shooting 60% from the field and 40% from three, playing for Benjamin. He also averaged 8.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 6 steals. As a Junior, his season high was 72 points.

Rigdon took an Official Visit to Wyoming back on October 11th.
