Two Weekend Boating Collisions on Lake Washington  – SPD Blotter

Seattle Police investigated a success and run collision between two boats, and a second collision between a ship and a private water craft, this weekend on Lake Washington.

Saturday at 9:24 p.m., a 911 caller reported a ship sinking in Lake Washington close to Madrona Seashore. Arriving officers situated three male and 4 feminine passengers aboard the sufferer vessel. Seattle Fireplace Division medics transported 5 passengers to Harborview Medical Middle for apparently non-life-threatening accidents.

Witnesses mentioned the motive force of the suspect vessel collided with the smaller sufferer vessel after which fled the scene. SPD’s Harbor Unit looked for the suspect vessel however couldn’t find it. 

Shortly after 5:00 p.m. Sunday night, 911 callers reported a ship taking over water in Lake Washington close to Seward Park. A 17-year-old woman driving a motorized private watercraft crashed into a ship, inflicting the boat to start sinking. All concerned events safely swam to shore on their very own and no accidents had been reported.
