WASHINGTON – Two Parkland dad and mom have been in Washington D.C. on Monday to assist folks perceive the ache they felt following the varsity taking pictures.

Additionally they need to unfold the message that gun violence is a major problem in tje nation.

Manuel and Patricia Oliver walked the halls of the U.S. Capitol, handing out a brand new ebook known as “Joaquin’s First College Capturing.

It’s a heartbreaking story of their son, Jaoquin Oliver’s, final day at college.

He was killed within the 2018 bloodbath at Marjory Stoneman Douglas Excessive College.

As his dad and mom have grow to be a robust advocate on gun reform, they need congress to cross new gun reform laws.

They’re hoping studying Joaquin’s story evokes lawmakers to take motion.
