Officers with Metro Nashville Police Department to bike to Washington D.C.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Metro Nashville Police Department will participate in a 250-mile journey to Washington D.C.
The MNPD said they’re participating in 2024′s Law Enforcement United’s fundraiser Road to Hope.
Each year the fundraiser honors the fallen and supports Concerns of Police Survivors and other organizations who benefit the law enforcement community.
The journey is completed in three days and ends in Washington D.C. and helps commemorate national police week each year.
MNPD said Team Nashville has raised $10,000 for the cause.
