A’mauri Washington, four-star defensive lineman, commits to Oregon Ducks

The Oregon Geese have added one other blue chip prospect to their 2023 recruiting class.

A’Mauri Washington, a four-star edge defender from Chandler, Ariz., committed to the Ducks on Friday. He selected Oregon over LSU, Oklahoma and Florida.

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound Washington is the No. 3 participant in Arizona, No. 24 defensive lineman and No. 159 gamers general within the class of 2023 within the 247Sports Composite rankings.

He’s credited with making 42 tackles with 12 for loss, together with six sacks, two compelled fumbles and ta move breakup as a junior at Chandler Excessive.

Washington is the seventeenth participant to decide to Oregon’s class, becoming a member of quarterback Dante Moore, large receivers Jurion Dickey and Ashton Cozart, cornerbacks Caleb Presley, Cole Martin and Collin Gill, defensive linemen Tevita Pome’e, Terrance Inexperienced and My’Keil Gardner, edge rushers Jaden Moore and Teitum Tuioti, working again Dante Dowdell, safeties Kodi Decambra and Tyler Turner, linebacker Jerry Mixon, tight finish Kenyon Sadiq and lengthy snapper Nick Duzansky.
