3 people found deceased in Northeast D.C. apartment, police say
D.C. police are investigating the deaths of three people found inside a Northeast Washington apartment Wednesday night, officials said.
Police responded to an emergency call to check on the welfare of residents inside a unit in the 5000 block of Jay Street NE shortly after 8 p.m., according to Assistant Police Chief Ramey Kyle. Responding officers found a door ajar and went inside, where they discovered three deceased adults, Kyle said.
