Utah Tech Runs Past Chadron State In Second Half Blowout
SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Tech shrugged off a sluggish first half to attain 28 unanswered factors on their strategy to a 56-10 win over Chadron State.
The Utah Tech Trailblazers hosted the Chadron State Eagles of their 2022 house opener at Larger Zion Stadium in St. George, UT on Saturday, September 10.
The Trailblazers scored first, driving 64 yards in six performs on their second possession of the evening. Quali Conley capped the drive with a 10-yard scoring run to present Utah Tech a 7-0.

The Eagles tied it up within the second quarter when Jalen Starks rushed up the center for a one yard landing run early within the interval.
The rating would stay 7-7 at halftime.
Popping out of the half, Utah Tech took over.
Chadron State took the second half kickoff and on the third play from scrimmage, Heath Beemiller’s cross was intercepted by Kaejin Smith-Bejgrowicz who took all of it the best way again for a landing.

On their subsequent possession, the Trailblazers went 80-yard in simply over three minutes. Kobe Tracy hit Malcolm Ross-Turner for the landing.
Main 21-7, Conley added his second speeding TD of the evening to interrupt the sport open.

With a 3 rating lead, the Trailblazers weren’t fairly able to take their foot off of the fuel.
On the primary play of the fourth quarter, Tracy lofted a deep ball down the best sideline that discovered a large open Joey Hobert for a 38 yard rating.
Simply 26 seconds later, Trailblazer nook Tyrell Grayson picked off a Beemiller cross and located his manner into the top zone for the second pick-six of the evening for Utah Tech.

Following an Eagle discipline purpose to make the rating 49-10, Conley added his third speeding landing of the evening.
Tracy completed with 388 passing yards and three touchdowns. Conley’s 139 speeding yards led the Trailbalzers whereas Hobert contributed 161 yards receiving on six catches.

Utah Tech (1-1) travels north to face the No. 16 Weber State Wildcats (2-0) at Stewart Stadium in Ogden, UT on Saturday, September 17. Kickoff is scheduled for six p.m. (MST).
