Utah man charged with shooting, killing teen during drug deal with baby in the car

TOOELE — A person who police say introduced his toddler son with him whereas he carried out a drug deal, after which ended up capturing and killing a 17-year-old boy when he thought he was being robbed is dealing with critical prices.
Deyvis Alejandro Velasquez-Galeas, 25, of Salt Lake Metropolis, was charged Monday in third District Courtroom with homicide and unlawful discharge of a firearm, each first-degree felonies; and drug possession with intent to distribute and little one endangerment, third-degree felonies.
On April 1, about 12:30 a.m., Velasquez-Galeas went to a bar close to 100 N. Broadway in Tooele along with his girlfriend and their 4-month-old son the place he had organized to promote THC cartridges within the parking zone, in response to charging paperwork.
Velasquez-Galeas advised police {that a} automotive arrived with a gaggle that was allegedly going to purchase the cartridges. The opposite two boys allegedly concerned, ages 17 and 15, have been booked into juvenile detention for investigation of aggravated theft.
