Southern Utah man arrested after allegedly threatening officer, officer’s family

CEDAR CITY — A person who police say despatched threatening messages to an officer and likewise made threats in opposition to the officer’s household was taken into custody Monday by the Iron County Metro SWAT group.
Manuel Dejesus Cabrera, 29, was booked into the Iron County Jail for investigation of two counts of creating a risk of violence, assault on a police officer, retaliation, interfering with an arrest and digital communication harassment.
