Multiple fires across Utah Sunday, wind and heat are factors
New fires began up in several areas of Utah right now amidst extreme warmth warnings.
Canyon Fireplace
Utah Fireplace Data confirmed a brand new hearth began east of Fillmore alongside the canyon street. They referred to the hearth as “Canyon Fireplace.”
“Erratic winds have pushed the hearth an estimated 15-20 acres,” the company stated in a tweet.
By 5:30 p.m. they stated the hearth crews have been in a position to cease the hearth’s development, crews stay on scene by way of the night.

Canyon Creek Fireplace
One other hearth began this afternoon south of Orderville on the west aspect of Freeway 89.
Utah Fireplace Data tweeted in regards to the “Cove Canyon Fireplace” saying smoke from the hearth has impacted visitors.

Saratoga Springs Inlet Fireplace
Authorities in Saratoga Springs are asking residents to keep away from the realm of a fireplace Sunday afternoon close to Saratoga Street south of Pony Specific Parkway.
Saratoga Springs Spokesperson AnnElise Harrison confirmed to KSL TV that the 10-acre hearth is north of the Public Security Constructing at 367 S Saratoga Street and South of Pony Specific in an empty area.
She stated a number of vacant buildings are threatened at the moment.
