1 injured in possible road rage shooting in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY — Police late Wednesday had been investigating a taking pictures they imagine could also be associated to street rage.
A person was driving north on 300 West in Salt Lake Metropolis when he was shot. He was taken to a hospital with severe accidents that don’t look like life-threatening, Salt Lake police stated.
The incident occurred close to 1967 South and 300 West and prompted the momentary closure of 300 West from 1900-2100 South.
There doesn’t look like a risk to the neighborhood associated to the taking pictures, police stated.
No arrests have been made.
Officers and crime lab technicians are on the scene to gather proof and converse with witnesses. Any witnesses who left previous to the arrival of officers are being requested to name police at 801-799-3000.
