WEST SEATTLE CRIME WATCH: ‘Apparent home break-in attempt’
Through e mail, a reader report from Genesee Hill:
Somebody shattered the sliding glass door to our basement on Friday night time in an obvious house break-in try. We stay between Dakota and Andover on 54th Ave SW. Now we have a digital camera on the entrance of our house however no file of a trespasser within the entrance. It appears this particular person climbed over our yard fence (which is now broken) and dropped their flashlight on the best way out. We don’t suppose this particular person entered our house or stole something, however we will’t make sure. Both method, it leaves an unsettled feeling. We now have cameras going through our yard and facet yards. The movement lights and residential safety system are being put in too. Keep alert and look out on your neighbors!
