Wallingford SWAT standoff with burglary suspect ends with arrest

SEATTLE — An in a single day SWAT standoff in Seattle’s Wallingford neighborhood has led to an arrest.

The incident between a housebreaking suspect and SWAT officers occurred at a house on North forty fifth Road and Meridian Avenue North close to Fats Cat Information.

Seattle police stated that shortly earlier than midnight, the householders had stepped exterior after they noticed a person who was having a psychological well being disaster. The person then ran inside their house and barricaded himself inside.

Nobody else was inside when the person entered the house.

SWAT officers, Seattle firefighters, and a bomb squad responded.

At round 4 a.m., SWAT officers deployed an NFDD — a noise flash diversion system generally known as a “flash-bang” — which rocked close by houses and woke neighbors.

By about 5 a.m., the person had been taken into custody.

Nobody was damage.
