Seattle weather: Puget Sound stays dry for now, but winds pick up Thursday
SEATTLE – Wednesday appeared fairly spectacular across the Northwest. Highs slowly warmed into the low to mid 50s across the area.
SeaTac hit 51 whereas simply northeast down the street in Seattle, the Sandpoint neighborhood landed at 55, which is above common.
We’re forecasting one other chilly in a single day with areas of freezing fog creating for folk via parts of the South Sound.
Enable for additional time on the street in Pierce County when out early tomorrow.
Thursday will appear to be a repeat of Wednesday besides we’re mixing in some gusty winds into the forecast.
Winds will decide up in a single day for the foothills of Puget Sound as a system digs into the jap portion of Washington. This may open the door for not solely winds, however mountain snow throughout the jap Cascades.
A Wind Advisory will stay in impact via Thursday night for the foothills of the Cascades.
We anticipate areas like Monroe, Gold Bar, North Bend, Maple Valley, Black Diamond, Enumclaw, Bucky, Bonnie Lake to expertise the strongest easterly gusts early Thursday morning. By late afternoon/early night peak winds will subside and chill out making this a reasonably short-lived wind occasion.
