Seattle police release year-end crime report; Gun violence, motor vehicle thefts reach all-time high

SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Division launched its year-end crime report on Monday.

Whereas total crime decreased over the past three months of the 12 months, crime elevated by 4% in 2022 in comparison with 2021.
