Seattle Parks and Recreation invites community to review Dearborn Play Area Improvement Project – Parkways

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invitations the neighborhood to satisfy the undertaking staff, overview the design and be taught in regards to the upcoming development for the Dearborn Play Space undertaking. Please go to our sales space on the Columbia Farmers Market, thirty seventh Ave. S & S Edmunds St., simply off Rainier Ave. S, 98118, on Wednesday, September 21, from 3 to 7 p.m.  

The undertaking is concentrated on putting in new play gear and bettering entry to the play space. SPR anticipates the undertaking can be in development in spring 2023. The undertaking can have a forest theme with new ‘Nature Play’ play gear, swings, picnic tables, plus improved accessibility. This design relies on the suggestions we heard from our neighborhood assembly and two surveys.

Dearborn Park is situated at 2919 S Brandon St. on Beacon Hill simply north of the Dearborn Park Elementary College and east of Martin Luther King Jr. Means S.
