Man charged with hate crime, woman charged with assault after stabbing man in University District

SEATTLE — King County prosecutors charged a person and girl this week for stabbing a person in Seattle’s College District late final month.

Jimmie Shawn Patrick, 29, and Crystal Gibson had been every charged with first-degree assault for the stabbing of Tony Yun on Jan. 31. Patrick, who’s white, was additionally charged with a hate crime for the incident.
