Workers at Macy’s flagship store go on pre-Christmas strike
SAN FRANCISCO — Final-minute customers in San Francisco’s Union Sq. are prone to run into picket traces at Macy’s Friday.
Union staff there formally went on strike at midnight after three years of failed negotiations to get a brand new contract.
