Heavy Showers To Hit Bay Area Wednesday Morning
SAN FRANCISCO — Just days after a massive storm swept through the Bay Area and Sierra, residents will likely see heavy rain on their morning commute.
“Look for scattered showers and perhaps a thunderstorm today,” the agency posted on X shortly before 5 a.m. “Rain amounts will (be) light for most locations but can’t rule out locally heavier totals if a stronger shower or storm happens to impact your location.”
The Bay Area forecast Wednesday also called for a 40 percent chance of showers in the afternoon, mainly between noon at 3 p.m., with precipitation of less than a tenth of an inch possible before a few days of dry and sunny weather heading into the weekend.
