Fatal crash snarls westbound traffic on Bay Bridge

SAN FRANCISCO – A deadly crash was reported early Sunday morning on the Bay Bridge, briefly shutting down all westbound visitors, in response to the California Freeway Patrol.

The crash was reported round 2:55 a.m. on westbound Interstate Freeway 80 on the bridge simply west of Treasure Island.

At the very least one loss of life was reported within the crash, which shut down all westbound lanes till round 4 a.m., when the far left lane reopened, CHP officers stated.

The opposite 4 lanes remained closed as of early Sunday morning, whereas eastbound bridge visitors was unaffected, in response to the CHP.
