E-scooter fire in San Francisco apartment building sends resident to hospital
SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco firefighters contained a blaze that was allegedly brought on by an e-scooter on the fourth flooring of a Polk Gulch condo advanced on Sunday afternoon.
Fireplace officers first introduced a primary alarm hearth within the 2200 block of Polk Road at 12:06 p.m.
Lower than half-hour later, firefighters introduced that the fireplace was contained to the unit the place it originated from.
One resident was rescued by engine and was taken to a burn middle for critical burns.
Firefighters decided that it was a lithium battery hearth from a scooter on the fourth flooring of the constructing.
