BART police involved in SF Civic Center station investigation; major systemwide delays
SAN FRANCISCO – BART police are investigating some sort of incident at San Francisco Civic Heart station Wednesday night, officers say. The transit system is experiencing main systemwide delays in consequence.
The transit system first tweeted about what they known as “police exercise” simply after 6 p.m. By 7 p.m., Civic Heart station reopened and regular service resumed.
KTVU reached out to BART officers who mentioned the investigation was energetic, however didn’t supply additional particulars. The delays seemed to be in all instructions from San Francisco BART stations.
Muni had offered bus service between16th Road, Civic Heart, and Powell Stations.
