Semi-trailer fire prompts closure of WB I-8 in Alpine

SAN DIEGO – A hearth on a semi-trailer prompted the closure of lanes Wednesday on westbound Interstate 8 within the Alpine space, California Freeway Patrol stated.

The hearth of unknown origin was reported simply after 4:30 a.m. on the freeway close to Tavern Street, the company’s visitors incident log exhibits. The end result led to the closure of all westbound lanes of the freeway within the space of Tavern Street with visitors being diverted off at West Willows Street.

Fireplace injury burned up the center of the semi-trailer and flattened the tires, in keeping with CHP. Crews have been seen extinguishing what remained of the blaze shortly earlier than 6 a.m.
