Ben Gravy has temporarily eschewed his home shores for a journey down to California. His latest vlog documented a trip to San Diego, where he’s been making some new content with Jacob Szekely. “It’s “Zeke’s world, I’m just living in it,” says Gravy on a call with the La Jolla Native. “Welcome to California, brother,” responded Szekely. “Now let’s get some sub-par waves!”

After some adventures on land in sea, Gravy ended his vlog with the announcement a new project. He plans to travel 25 thousand miles around the world and surf all seven major oceans.

“It’s called ‘Seven Seas in Seven Days,’ and I’ve been working on this project for almost four years,” said Gravy. “Not only is it going to be a vlog series, it’s also going to be a full-length documentary that I’m hoping to premiere before the end of the year.”

The journey starts on October 24th, with a six-day trip to Tokyo. Afterwards, he will head to Bali to check off the Indian Ocean, then Melbourne and Sydney to surf the South Pacific. Interestingly, the South Atlantic will be substituted for the Gulf of Mexico, with a trip to Texas for tanker surfing, followed by a stop in New Jersey. The trip caps off with a journey to the Arctic Ocean, via Norway.
