20-year-old orca dies at SeaWorld San Diego following infection

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A 20-year-old orca died Thursday night time at SeaWorld San Diego because of an an infection.

In response to the leisure firm, Nakai died surrounded by the animal care and medical groups who took care of him for 20 years.

“Veterinarians and well being specialists had been actively treating an an infection, however aggressive therapeutic and diagnostic efforts had been unsuccessful,” the park stated.

Nakai was born at SeaWorld San Diego in 2001.
