Watch: Oregon governor candidates spar over climate policy during heat wave

Republican Christine Drazan, Democrat Tina Kotek and unaffiliated candidate Betsy Johnson argued over options to deal with Oregon’s homeless and psychological well being crises, gun security and abortion rights at a debate in Welches on Friday hosted by the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Affiliation.

And as temperatures hit the triple digits in cities across the state, the candidates sparred over the easiest way to curb greenhouse gasoline emissions.
