Video shows Oregon player in incident with fan
No. 9 Oregon senior linebacker DJ Johnson had a confrontation with an Oregon State fan on the sector after Saturday’s loss, an incident that was captured on video.
With followers on the sector at Corvallis, Oregon, following No. 21 Oregon State’s 38-34 win, a video posted on social media reveals Johnson strolling on the turf when a Beavers fan sporting a hat seems to carry up his hand to Johnson whereas crossing his path.
The fan lowered his hand and continued strolling away, and the video then reveals Johnson extending his proper hand forcefully. The fan seemed to be struck by Johnson, with footage displaying his hat falling to the bottom and Johnson being shortly pulled again by two people sporting Geese gear.
“We’re conscious of a postgame change involving a member of our soccer group and a fan and are working to assemble extra info,” Oregon mentioned in an announcement.
Johnson had three tackles in Saturday’s sport. In 11 video games this season, he has a team-best 6.0 sacks.
