The Oregonian/OregonLive Editorial Board feels Eugene’s new gasoline equipment ban will not be good coverage, (“Editorial: Posturing trumps good coverage in Eugene’s natural-gas ban,” March 12). I disagree. I urge all Oregon cities to undertake such a ban.

Burning fossil fuels must cease. Sure, Eugene’s ban doesn’t go far sufficient, nevertheless it units a tone and strikes the needle within the course that it wants to maneuver. Cross the ban after which do extra, now!

Pure gasoline is cheaper? Certain, in case you ignore the influence burning fossil fuels has on our future. As Greta Thunberg says, “Our home is on fireplace!” We have to act.

Thanks to the town of Eugene for doing the correct factor and for encouraging the remainder of us to comply with your lead.
