Program to regenerate Oregon forests after 2020 wildfires to receive big boost from USDA
Oregon nonprofit Sustainable Northwest will likely be getting $5 million from the U.S. Division of Agriculture to work on reforesting land burned within the 2020 Labor Day fires. The group has partnered with small landowners to attempt to perceive the challenges they face replanting their forests after large wildfires. Dylan Kruse, the Vice President of Sustainable Northwest, joins us with the small print.
