SOUTHERN OREGON —The temperatures are rising, bringing extra folks outside, and the Oregon State Marine Board needs to remind you to be protected boating.

No matter what’s calling you to the water, it says to you should definitely plan forward, listen, and share the water.

Consultants say to verify the climate forecast, water ranges, or tides earlier than heading out.

Ensure that to put on life vests, by no means boat alone, and boat sober.
