Oregon land use board overturns Lincoln County decision on short-term rentals

Final November, Lincoln County voters authorized a poll measure limiting the variety of short-term leases in unincorporated areas. Their hope was to manage the rising variety of short-term rental properties within the county, with a plan to part out short-term leases in 5 years. However, earlier this month, the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals overturned the measure, ruling the choice goes towards state legal guidelines.
